Today Alex came over and we tapped 4 sugar maple trees for a total of 6 taps (at least we think they're sugar maples). It was super easy. Paul had the taps. We just drilled holes in a few trees tapped this little thing into it and out came sap. It was surprisingly simple. Probably the most ghetto maple syrup tapping can get. We didn't even bother to take the labels off.
