toil

I decided I'm gonna blog more. It's fun after all.

So I was thinking about changing my name. Not that I don't like my name, it's just not as fitting as the name I came up with. David Toomanyprojects. It has a nice ring to it after all. I have a keyboard that I'm fixing, a wahwah pedal, a bicycle, an amp, a six pack (impossible), 10 songs, making cheese, making sauerkraut, building a jeep, i can't even remember the rest of the projects. But this got me to thinking, I mean a few friends of mine were talking about work the other day. Like what country works the hardest. I think work is a wonderful thing, I mean it's good. It's fulfilling. There's a certain feeling of accomplishment after a long day of work. All my hobbies are just work really. It just really bothers me when someone doesn't know how to hustle. How to apply themselves. How to search deep into their being and see how much left they have to give and really give it their best shot. It's part of what it means to be human. To be human is to work, and may we find joy and fulfillment in what our hands can and have accomplished. To rest is good too, so for today I'm gonna take a nap and then maybe make some farmhouse (free range, grass fed, non-hormone organic) cheddar
