Infomercials are so fake and weird. They all have this way about them that makes me queasy. If you buy now... our product does everything you ever needed. You've wanted this product for so long and you didn't even know it, we'll finally make your life better. In college my roommate had the whole "set it and forget it" thing memorized it was great. "Ron that looks good and all but I really need some knives to cut my boots with". It's just garbage really, they're liars. They're pushy and overexcited just to mask the fact that their product isn't that good, that it has no real quality and isn't a necessity. They oversell it and are over eager to get more people to send them money for their own gain. But I guess everyone doesn't know it's a fake. People buy this stuff, that's why they're still around. I don't get it at all.
Something is fundamentally wrong with the way people talk about Jesus to others. Why do we sell Jesus to people. Why are people so pushy? Do we think he's a product? Do we think he's a bad product? If it's a good product you don't have to oversell it right? There's no infomercials selling Rolex and Ferrari. No we just know that they're the good. What are we trying to gain?
If you want to make a lifetime commitment tonight after the 10 minutes I spent selling it to you, please repeat after me. If you've bought our product tonight won't you please stand up and tell everyone how great our product is.

"It is always the simple things that change our lives. And these things never happen when you are looking for them to happen. Life will reveal answers at the pace life wishes to do so. You feel like running, but life is on a stroll. This is how God does things.” -donald miller-
