As the election nears and obsession rears it's oddly shaped head. I wonder why people get so hopped up about the election. No one really knows, there are not certainties. If both candidates are the best both parties can muster, how big of a loss could it possibly be if either candidate won. Essentially it's the two best candidates in the country right? Either way. I begin to wonder what is really behind this whole voting thing after all. I mean I see kids go mad for Obama. Adults get straight ferocious about McCain. Really what are people getting so excited about? It seems their hope and trust relies on these candidates. Their future. Yet people don't even talk in the way that their hope is on the line. Instead the talk like it's their inner beings that are on the line. We're gonna destroy you in the debate tonight? I don't think it really works like that. I don't see Paulin punching out Obama. It seems like our presidental banter infers more than just political direction. Something deeper is being conveyed here.
